French film fete to be held
The Alliance Francaise de Trivandrum and French Embassy of India are together bringing a package of French short, fiction films to Kochi in a two-day festival. Titled 'Les Lutins do court-métrage,' the festival will be held on July 9 and 10, at IMA Hall, Ernakulam.
The festival is being organised in association with Chavara Cultural Centre, Cochin Film Society and Chetana Media Institute, Thrissur. The package has 24 films, including 'Black Seeds,' (Pépins noirs), 'One Fine Morning,' (Un beau matin), 'The Corridor,' (Le Couloir), 'Bhai-Bhai,' (Bhaï-bhaï), 'From Under My Bed,' (Sous mon lit), 'The Time of Cherries,' (Le Temps des cerises), 'Nicole and Daniel,' (Nicole et Daniel), 'On The Other Side,' (De l'autre côté), 'A Woman Alone,' (La Femme seule), 'The Headless Sailor,' (Le Marin acéphale), 'Painting the Town Red,' (Les Princesses de la piste), 'Chahut Din,' 'Kitchen,' 'Le Régulateur,' 'Free Market,' (Libre échange), 'Céleste,' The screenings will be held at IMA Hall from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday (July 9) and from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday (July 10).
